The race for the White House is on!
Eagle-eyed observers will have noted the absence of Kangaroo Politics from your inboxes for the last few months….I know you missed me!
The truth is that the race had gotten so boring that there was nothing interesting left to write about.
Trump became a convicted criminal unlikely to serve a day in prison - continuing the American tradition of white collar criminals avoiding punishment.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden had barely moved, either physically or in the polls, in months. He remained lackluster in all respects.
Then…. the unthinkable happened…a politician put the interests of the country ahead of their own!!
Recognizing that his position was untenable, and his legacy was being tarnished, Biden did the honorable thing and dropped out.
That shook up the race with little more than 100 days left. Rather than Sleepy Joe and the Same old Trump…It’s now Kamala v Trump…the contrast is clear.
We are facing a monumental sprint to the first Tuesday in November and Kangaroo politics can’t be left out of that!
